Allow 6–8 weeks for production and delivery to your door, including shipping and customs clearance. Our express service takes 3–4 weeks — and for a fixed date, such as a commencement or an investiture, we arrange delivery with you personally.

For fabrics by Holland & Sherry, Scabal and Loro Piana, and for robes in color, our atelier arranges finish and timing with you personally.

Our measurement form explains every measurement with a picture, and our video shows you how to measure. Before production begins, our atelier in Landshut checks every measurement — a doubtful number is queried rather than quietly cut.

We offer six fabrics for our robes: three woven exclusively for our house — TIMELESS | bespoken Silver Wool and Gold Silk, and MANUFAKTUR BAVARIA Royal Regalia — and three from Europe’s great cloth houses: Holland & Sherry Royal Mile (London, since 1836), Scabal Capri Cool Wool (Belgium) and Loro Piana Summer Tasmanian (Italy, on request). With them come fifteen linings in silk, viscose or acetate/viscose. Colors and details of our partner fabrics are shown in our Fabric & Lining Card.

Step 1: On the robe, choose your fabric, your size or measurements, and the details. For fabrics from our partner houses and for robes in color, you first arrange the details with the atelier.

Step 2: For made to measure, you enter your measurements in our measurement form after ordering; the link comes with your order confirmation. Before production begins, our atelier in Landshut checks every measurement.

Step 3: Your robe is handcrafted in Bavaria and delivered to your door, insured.

Yes — we ship worldwide outside the EU. Insured standard shipping is included with every robe. For everything else, flat rates apply: standard shipping $19.90 and express shipping $49.00 per order; the Fabric Swatch Card ships for $9.80.

All prices are in US dollars. Prices exclude sales tax; import duties are paid by the recipient.

Ordering from the EU? Our robes are available in euros, VAT included, at Manufaktur Bavaria.

Robes and coats made especially for you to your individual measurements cannot be returned for a refund unless they are defective. Non-custom items, such as the Fabric Swatch Card, may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Full details are in our Refund policy.

Yes. Our Fabric Swatch Card puts our robe fabrics in your hand as swatches — against a deposit of $20.00, which we refund once the card is returned.
