Our judicial robes come in three cloth qualities woven for our house – pure Merino wool, Merino with cashmere, and Merino with silk – and in three cloths from Europe’s great cloth houses.

Genuine horn buttons are standard, as is a lining of your choice in silk (84 g/m²), viscose (78 g/m²), or acetate/viscose (80 g/m²) – your personal signature inside every robe.

We make each robe to measure or in your reference size. For anything beyond our collection, speak directly with our atelier in Landshut.

Every robe is individually tailored to your measurements, with a lining of your choice in silk (84 g/m²), viscose (78 g/m²) or acetate/viscose (80 g/m²).
Who wears a judicial robe?
Judges wear robes as a symbol of the independence and neutrality of the judiciary. We tailor robes for judges across Europe. As the official robe maker to the Unified Patent Court, we make the robes of every judge at first instance and on appeal. Each robe is individually made and personalised.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We handcraft each robe in our atelier in Bavaria, Germany, and ship worldwide. A made-to-measure robe typically takes about 6–8 weeks, as every robe is cut and sewn individually for you.
