    SCABAL | Capri100% wool, 173 g/m²

Cloth by Scabal — family-owned since 1938, woven at its own mill in Huddersfield.

Scabal, founded in Brussels in 1938 and family-owned to this day, weaves its cloths at its own mill in Huddersfield — a region devoted to fine cloth for almost five hundred years. There, the exclusive fabric SCABAL | Capri is woven at 173 g/m² (260 g/m) from pure wool in a plain weave.

Its character: light, resilient, with a discreet, matt finish — the choice for those who favour understated elegance. The open plain weave lets the cloth breathe; through long days in court and in warm rooms it stays agreeably cool and holds its shape. A cloth that works so that you may forget it.

Lining: silk (84 g/m²), viscose (78 g/m²) or acetate/viscose (80 g/m²), as you choose – our Fabric & Lining Card states the material of each of the 15 designs.

    Composition:
    Outer fabric: 100% wool, 173 g/m²
    Lining: depending on the design chosen, 100% silk (84 g/m²), 100% viscose (78 g/m²) or 50% acetate/50% viscose (80 g/m²)

Cloth is best judged by hand: our fabric swatch card places Capri in your hands.

Made to Measure – Individually Tailored for You

Every robe is crafted to your precise measurements to ensure an elegant and comfortable fit.

Please watch the video below for guidance on how to take your measurements. Once completed, submit your details in the measurement form.

You may also consult our Fabric & Lining Card to personalize the interior of your robe.

Every figure is reviewed before the cloth is cut. Our atelier in Landshut goes through each measurement, and a doubtful number is queried rather than quietly cut — we measure twice, the cloth is cut once.

Your robe will be individually crafted in Bavaria from the world's finest cloth – tailored not only to your measurements, but to your presence.

Animated guide with spoken instructions and subtitles: on a drawn figure, a red line shows in turn where height, robe length, chest circumference, back width, chest depth, shoulder width, sleeve length and collar size are measured.
