If you're looking for a robe as unique as your journey – with your choice of fabrics, colors, cuts, and fine details – you're in the right place. Since 2026, the same atelier also creates made-to-measure cashmere coats — with their own choice of cuts and a cotton-toile fitting.
At MANUFAKTUR BAVARIA, each bespoke robe is handmade in our ateliers in Landshut, Bavaria. Whether for judicial, clergy, or academic occasions, your robe will not only fit perfectly but also reflect your status and individuality with timeless elegance.

Your made-to-measure coat
For your coat, choose the cut, cloth and interior in our house collection and order in the shop. Yeşim Küçükay then arranges your new measurements and fitting personally. We first make a cotton toile; we cut the cashmere only once it fits. Allow around six weeks from measuring to handover. For handover before Christmas 2026, we accept orders until October 31, 2026.
Cloths from Europe’s great houses.
We cut your robe from cloths woven expressly for our house or from the collections of Holland & Sherry, Scabal and Loro Piana. Beyond the selection in our shop, you choose yours personally with our atelier in Landshut, Bavaria.
Our robes are made using the finest merino virgin wool and luxurious blends with cashmere and silk. These fabrics are breathable, lightweight, wrinkle-resistant, and ensure lasting elegance.

Our esteemed clientele includes dignitaries from prestigious academic institutions such as Harvard University, as well as individual dignitaries of the Federal Constitutional Court, U.S. District Court judges, Attorneys General, Administrative Judges, State and Corporate Attorneys, and prominent figures from Christian and Jewish communities.
As the official robe maker to the Unified Patent Court, we make the robes of every UPC judge, in both the Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal. Each robe is individually made and personalised. The robes were developed in collaboration with the Directorate in Luxembourg.
